Garage Denis Allard inc. (Garage GDA), located at 1494 rue Du Sud, Cowansville, QC J2K 2Y8, is responsible for the personal information collected on this site.

Under Quebec's Law 25, the person in charge of protecting personal information is the owner of the business. You can reach them at info@garagedenisallard.ca or at 450 266-2062.

Through the contact form: your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to provide it, and the message you write. Nothing else.

This site uses no analytics, no advertising and no trackers. We do not build profiles, we do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for solicitation.

Only to answer your request: to call you back, prepare an estimate, or book an appointment. That is the only use.

Messages received through the form stay in our mailbox for as long as it takes to handle your request, then for at most 12 months as a service history. After that, they are deleted.

If your request leads to work on your vehicle, the information tied to the invoice follows our usual accounting and tax obligations.

We do not share your information with anyone for commercial purposes.

Two technical providers are involved in running the site, and their servers are located outside Quebec, in the United States. Vercel hosts the website. Resend delivers the form messages to our inbox. Your information therefore passes briefly through these services, solely for the technical delivery of the message, and neither uses it for its own purposes.

We assessed that this transfer does not expose your information to unreasonable risk, given how little sensitive it is and how briefly it is processed.

This site sets a single cookie by default, named NEXT_LOCALE. It remembers the language you chose so you are not asked again on every page. It is strictly necessary for the site to work and is not used for any tracking.

The Google Maps map on the Contact page is external content that does set Google cookies. For that reason, it does not load until you accept it. If you decline, the map is replaced by a plain link to Google Maps and no Google cookie is set.

You can change your mind at any time through the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

Quebec law gives you the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is inaccurate, to request its deletion, to withdraw your consent, and to obtain a copy in a structured technological format.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, at cai.gouv.qc.ca.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its effective date.
